Welcome to Art Elective!
Students enrolled in this course will:
Develop critical thinking and communication skills through the arts.
Develop connections with related fields and apply the skills they are learning in real-world problems.
Learn how art has influenced society over time and how current artists are influencing society today.
Explore working with a variety of art materials, subject matter & topics.
Students will receive weekly sketchbook assignments that are to be completed outside of class, showing craftsmanship, exploration, problem solving and organization.
