Every month, each grade has an assembly where we discuss our learning goals and how to be a great school community. We also introduce our Super Power Word of the Month\u2014this month, it\u2019s STAR! It\u2019s the four ways your child can respectfully listen to and add to conversations in school:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>S<\/strong>it up and listen.<\/li>\n<li><strong>T<\/strong>rack the speaker.<\/li>\n<li><strong>A<\/strong>sk and answer questions.<\/li>\n<li><strong>R<\/strong>espect those around you.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Our big focus was on mutual respect. Our teachers did some <span style=\"text-decoration: line-through\">hilarious<\/span> informative role-playing for the little ones about different situations that we see all year long, good and bad.
