I’ve received a few questions about video conferences with your child’s teachers.<\/p>\n
On Schoology, conference times are:<\/p>\n
8am – 9am | PreK & K
\n9am – 10am | 1st Grade
\n10am – 11am | 2nd Grade<\/p>\n
Your teacher will let you know what days they will hold Schoology conferences. If you’re not sure, please ask your child’s teacher. You’ll be able to access the conference by clicking on the Conference tab within your child’s ELA folder in the Schoology app during the conference hours.<\/p>\n
Zoom is our newest way to conference. Your child’s teacher will notify you of a Zoom meeting time by sending you a Meeting ID number and a Meeting Password. You will need to enter these at the meeting time to enter the meeting and speak with your child’s teacher. Zoom is not like FaceTime or Skype, where you can video-call your child’s teacher at any time. The meeting time is set and you receive that information.<\/p>\n
If you do need to speak with your child’s teacher at another time, please reach out to the teacher to work out an individual conference time.<\/p>\n
