Enrique Feldman is the author of the book series called Sam the Ant. He lives in Tuscan, Arizona and took an hour of his time today to “zoom” (basically like skype) with us in our classroom from his home. He read the first book called Sam the Ant; The Flood and played games with us. Since he is also a composer we enjoyed listening to him play piano for us in a bunch of different styles of music. The kids got a taste of what the desert is like too! He had a huge cactus growing in his backyard and we got to see it up close. We even got to see the mountains from far away. There is a chance we will be “zooming” with him a again soon to go on a trip to the desert! What a great day!
