The American Battlefield Trust
Purpose: To help fund class field trips to Revolutionary War, War of 1812, and Civil War battlefields, as well as related museums and historic sites.
Eligibility: K-12 classroom teachers (one class per school district per year)
Deadline: Rolling application (be sure to submit at least one month before the planned field trip!)
Award Notification: Within two weeks of receipt of the application
Funding Amount: $250-$1,500
Covered Expenses: Transportation, meals, admission fees, and reasonable presenter/guide fees.
Ineligible Expenses: Overnight lodging, souvenirs
