My hobby is being a volunteer firefighter where we train every Sunday and Monday. Being in the fire department means we never know when we will get paged out to a call, how long we will be there, and we never know the circumstances were walking into. Being a firefighter has helped me advance my knowledge in law enforcement because of the crucial calls that I have responded to where law enforcement arrived on scene first. Being a firefighter we have to preform some actions that police officers also do such as scene safety and making sure the scene is secure by not tampering with evidence that could be useful in an investigation. I have also had the opportunity to work along side with a police officer during a car accident re-framing how the accident had occurred.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
