Personal Brand:
Who am I? What are my strengths/weakness? Whats my brand? In ILead class we had to brand ourselves, which helped us figure out who we really are and how we would represent our self in a public place, interview, business, etc. This picture shows my personal brand, based on my brand I found out that I seem to be a very responsible and organized compared to other students and peers. I tend to overcome problems to help others and myself out. Also tend to be a problem solver. Creating my brand helped me figure out characteristics about myself.
Awards:
An award I have received that was rewarding to me was Rotary Student of the Month. I was Rotary Student of January for Watkins Glen High School. My responsibility helped me earn this award. Over the past couple years I have been in many classes with Mrs. Popovich, which helped me grow on many skills that lead me to earning Rotary Student. The classes was either college credit or an elective. Taking this class allowed me to work with students that need help, grow on communication skills, and make myself a role model, and figure out what I want to study. Taking higher level classes allowed me to grow many skills that helped earn Rotary Student of the Month.
Diploma Extension:
While taking ACE Accounting in 10th grade my teacher came to me and asked about taking a CTE extension. When she confronted me about it all these came to mind; What was this CTE extension? What did I have to do to work for this CTE extension? Well the CTE extension was a business extension on my diploma and I had to take so many classes and take so many tests to get the CTE. Sense I had already taken about half the classes I might as well had worked for it. The exam was called NOCTI, which was based on Accounting skills that I had learned. The exam was very challenging and took me two times to take it and pass it, but I knew I could do it and I did it! Taking this CTE extension is rewarding to me knowing I’m the only one in my grade that will have this.
