About Me

My name is Cale Sutterby, and I’m a high school student at Watkins Glen high school. I’m taking almost exclusively advanced classes. They range from as simple as geometry, to college courses like World History and Drawing and Design for Production. The last two are actually my favorite classes, and have torn me on career decisions.

Although I love explore both machines and the world works, as far as I know there aren’t any careers im both combined. Up until this year I’d always loved technical classes much more, but my history teacher Alex Richmond is the first I’ve had that is truly willing to help. He makes it easy to understand, and will often relate it to things we know already. His kindness alone has inspired me to help others understand. Now that I know what it’s lien to have a teacher like him, I want everyone to, and there’s no better way to do that than to be that teacher. For some reason another part of me wants to be an entrepreneur, but that’s a risky business so I repress it.

Outside of school I spend time with my family, fly model planes, and play tennis. My dad is probably one of the most diverse people I know, when it comes to experience. He was one the head winemaker for Hazlit winery, was the tester for the annual cardboard boat regatta (Which his mother actually started!), and now works as the head sales men at Prospero. He even sold a bottling line to Trump’s winery.  We often fly model planes and drones together, and he taught me not to give up, no matter how bad at something I may seem, which I applied to tennis. Now I’m on the Varsity Tennis team.
