I have volunteered at my school a couple of times to help set up decorations for events, such as the Elementary School art show, where I helped set up the children’s’ sculptures and some balloons. Volunteering gives me extra credits, which can get me into better colleges, which in turn allows me to learn more and get better at what will eventually become my job.
I’m part of my school’s SADD, music, Interact, and art clubs. I’ve been in the SADD, Interact, and music clubs since last year, and I joined the art club this year. I’ll be honest, music club doesn’t do all that much aside from the occasional club fundraiser and field trip, but art club does fundraisers to raise money for either the club itself or the school, SADD club does a little bit of volunteer work and fundraisers for the school, itself, or for other reasons, and Interact does lots of volunteer work. This can net me some extra credits, which is great.
