I have volunteered at the St. Mary’s of the Lake Church for a food drive and also for religious education classes for younger children. I would assist the kids in the classroom either to the bathroom or to just simply keep the kids on task. Then, during the food drive, i would hand out food to the people there and also household necessities such as toothpaste and soap.
Also, i work very well in groups and am always on task and make sure that others in the group are doing their work and staying on task. I enjoy and am fairly good at writing poems and playing music on the piano and i always produce quality work.
Volunteering helped prepare me for the job i am applying for because it allowed me to interact with people and help them out to live normally which was extremely rewarding, since one of my goals has always been to help out people in anyway possible.
