Teacher surveys here at Diven and around our country confirm that ROUTINES are extremely important to your child’s academic success.
Each day at school, your child has a routine that moves him through lessons, activities, and play. Having a school routine makes it possible for your child’s teacher to effectively teach a large group of children without going insane. It also keeps your children happy and focused!
Having routines at home helps your child at school! Bedtime routines make sure that your child gets enough sleep, boosting the immune system and decreasing behavioral problems. Morning routines lower stress levels and make sure that your child gets to school with a great start!
I want to remind staff and families: winter break is stressful for some children and families. Many face challenges throughout the year, and winter break is no exception. When kids return from break, please give them plenty of grace, love, and compassion, as you always do.
