All week long, we’re celebrating Healthy Dolphin, Happy Dolphin! Our classes will be doing activities all week long to promote healthy hearts and bodies by being kind and helpful to others (our Super Power Word this month is HELPFUL) and doing healthy activities.
Today, all of our students received a pedometer to wear while they are in school. Classes at each grade level will be having a friendly competition to see who is taking the most steps this week! Our scholars are taking the scenic route to their specials. 😉 Mr. Werfelman and Mrs. Legare have a special prize for the classes who have the most steps at the end of the week.
Tuesday is Family Night! We are going to have Zumba, yoga, and amazing crafts and activities for our little ones. The American Heart Association will also be there with a table and information. This is a free event and all are welcome and encouraged to attend!
On Wednesday, we’ll be giving bottles of water to all of our staff and students as we encourage them all to drink plenty of water!
Thursday is “Drop Everything and Move Day,” and all of our classes will be listening for the morning announcement to…drop everything and move! Jumping, dancing, stretching–each class will be celebrating in a different way, but everyone will be having fun.
And Friday, Finger Lakes Eat Smart NY is visiting our school so that every student can make a special snack with their class that is healthy and fun!
