Do you have a child who will be age five on or before December 1, 2019? Then you have a kindergartner! Registration for kindergarten will open the first week of May, and you’ll want to get your child registered as soon as possible. If your child is currently enrolled in pre-kindergarten in the Elmira City School District, then you don’t have to register; simply return the “Intent to Attend Kindergarten” form in your child’s Wednesday Folder—you’ll get it in a few weeks. Please register at the school that your child will attend and have your child’s birth certificate, complete immunization records, and three proofs of residency to register.
