We hope you had a fantastic holiday break! Now, it’s time to get back into the swing of things. Our Super Power Word of the Month for January is reflective. We look back to plan for success ahead. Now is a great time to help your child make goals for the new year. Social goals might be to make a new friend or make peace with an old friend. Emotional goals might be to learn how to stay calm when faced with disappointment or practice using a self-confident inner voice. Academic goals could include learning new sight words or improving hand writing. Whatever your goals are, think about what you’ve done in the past that helped or hindered your progress as you develop your plan for success.
