March: The Worst Month for Attendance

By | March 6, 2020

March is typically our worst month for attendance. The weather is unpredictable, making it hard for our walkers. We have a conference day—no school March 20—and parent/teacher conferences—early dismissal March 10. Some parents decide not to send their children on days when we dismiss early. But please send your little ones to school; we teach every day. Check out tinyurl.com/AttendanceSweet for an info-packed presentation about the importance of good attendance in these early years and some initiatives going on in other Districts.

We are always working to remove attendance barriers, so if you are having a problem getting your child to school—transportation, health care, bullying, etc.—please reach out so we can help your family.
