Just Wondering…

Are you familiar with this quote?  “Never lend books, for no one ever returns them; the only books I have in my library are books that other folks have lent me.”
― Anatole France  It’s kind of funny, but not TRUE!  People do return books, especially people who use the Big Flats Elem Library!

But sometimes books are “lost” or misplaced for a while.  They become overdue.  When you finally find them, it seems like you’ve had them forever.  It’s stressful?  Are you going to get in trouble?  Are you going to have to pay a fine?  Will someone make fun of you?

Has anything like that happened to you?

Did you happen to find any library books around your house this summer?  Are you nervous about returning them?  No worries!  Just bring the books back.  Sometimes things like that happen… If it happened to you, if you found a library book that you forgot to return last year, please bring it back.  Lots of other people would like to borrow it this year.  No one will give you a hard time about it.  Promise!  Thanks so much!
