Below are the highlights of this week’s Dolphin Dispatch, which went over some of our generosity (our character trait of the month) initiatives and outcomes. Dolphin Dispatch is our school’s weekly newsletter. You can download this week’s newsletter here.

Left: Kit & Eliza brought in food for all 12 Days of Peace on the first day! What a very generous act!
We’ve been working with our scholars on the concept of generosity. It is a very special gift to be able to give and share with others. Our students have been exchanging kind words, bringing in donations for the food bank, and learning how to be kind friends. We’ve also been teaching our children about being kind to the earth by reducing our waste and recycling when we can. Finally, our students have been learning about different holidays, including Hanukkah, Christmas, and Kwanzaa. We all have different beliefs, but the same need to be connected, loved, secure, and appreciated!
Free Childcare for All!
Free childcare for all…DSO attendees! That was a total bait and switch, sorry. What’s the DSO? Well, it’s the Diven School Organization! It’s like a PTO except with more dolphiny good times. Want to get involved in planning school activities and fundraisers, and maybe dress up as a dolphin very now and then? Then please come hang out with the DSO at our monthly meeting. Our next meeting is TOMORROW, December 13, 2018, in the conference room at 3pm. We (gently) throw all our kids in the gym for some supervised play–good for your school and your sanity! 🙂
You ARE the Angel We Need!
Thank you to those Diven families who have volunteered to sponsor other Diven families this month, to make sure no little Dolphin feels left out this holiday season. These Angel Fish Families have inspired us to create a wish list for all 12 children in need of a helping hand this holiday season. You can help, too. Sign up to choose a gift to donate:
